Sunday Services
The below information describes our standard Sunday services but does not necessarily apply when are in quarantine. Check the home page for the most recent information about our meetings during this ever-changing pandemic.
****
On Sunday mornings we gather for a worship service, take a break for fellowship time, and then divide into Sunday school classes. The times for fellowship and Sunday school may vary slightly, depending on how the worship service goes, but this is a general layout of Sunday mornings at Shalom.
9:30 AM - Worship Service
First and foremost, our worship services are designed to do just that: to worship God. Every Sunday, we have worship through music, Scripture reading, thoughtful sermons, and prayer and sharing time. Our musical style varies widely, as we alternate between contemporary worship music, a cappella hymn singing, and special instrumental music. Furthermore, our services also may include communion and children's stories.

10:45 AM - Fellowship Break
Feel free to head downstairs and grab a cup of coffee or hot chocolate during our fellowship break between morning worship and the Sunday school hour.
11:00 AM - Sunday School
During our Sunday school hour, we offer classes for children as well as adults. The adult classes range from book discussions to Bible studies to a review of the morning sermon. We frequently have church-wide Sunday school events in which someone shares a presentation with all of the adults who are present.
